Agrotech Gartenbautechnik GmbH was founded in 1998 and specializes in the distribution of horticultural and plant protection products.

Since 2004, the company has been supporting gardeners in Austria and some neighboring countries with the successful implementation of biocontrol and pollination programs, acting as the exclusive distributor for Biobest and offering state-of-the-art technical advice. 

In 2023, the founder and long-time managing director Roman Kölbl decided to sell the business to the Biobest Group N.V. in order to retire.

Since 2025, Agrotech Gartenbautechnik GmbH has been fortunate to have a very experienced General Manager. Gregor Hoffmann was warmly welcomed as the new managing director of the company. After many years in consulting and later in international seed sales, Gregor now focuses on the Biobest and Plant Products portfolio.

From 2026 onwards, Agrotech Gartenbautechnik GmbH will slowly but steadily establish itself in its new role as Plant Products Austria and look forward to innovate products as part of the restructuring. Many of these products come from own development.

Thus, new things combined with proven ones become even better.
